I should probably wait to comment until I finish, but I wrote a paper about this poem in college for a Frost class, and my professor’s comments on my rough draft were that I contradicted my thesis. Changing the thesis statement to match the paper I’d actually written about the speakers ambivalence/mixed feelings about the wall was easier than re-writing the paper 😅
