This is such a lovely, moving poem. I didn't realize it was an acrostic the first time listening to it; it flowed so smoothly and didn't seem forced. I listened to the letters the second time through and am going to look it up and see how it reads on paper. Thank you for the second read through. Your commentary always points out something that aids my understanding the second go around.

Same! I didn't realize it was an acrostic. I was also listening for the letters on the second read-through.

And I love how the form matches the theme so beautifully. Psalm 119 is my favorite because it's abecedarian but also because it's a meditation on the Law as the Word of God. And I love how this poem does the same.

This is a poem I'm going to copy into my poetry commonplace book. It's a keeper.

An amazing construct of concept and application. I enjoyed this poem. The reader's presentation engaged us immediately. Secondly, although we often object to form, this shows how it tightens our clarity. The analysis was important. All the best.
